Reclining Buddha

Framed resin figurine of Buddha in a reclining position. This is related to the story of the giant Asurindarahu who wished to see Buddha but didn’t want to bow before him. Buddha humbled him by lying down and appearing larger than the giant and then showing that in heaven there were heavenly bodies even larger.
