Thai Elephant with Trunk Up

Beautiful handmade wooden carving of a Thai elephant with its trunk up which many believe symbolizes good luck. Each elephant (Thai name Chang) is decorated in gold paint and inlaid with refective glass beads to recreate the traditional ceremonial attire they would be dressed with to accompany parades, usually marking royal celebrations.
